Yamme is a community sports platform being built around a non-profit mission. It helps people discover nearby outdoor fields and courts, find or organize free pickup games, coordinate with local players, and make better use of the public sports spaces already around them.

The map is designed around nearby facilities and games so people can find opportunities in their own neighbourhood instead of travelling across the city just to participate.

By reducing the effort needed to find a place, a time, and enough players, Yamme aims to make recreational sport easier to enjoy regularly and help people spend more time active outdoors.
4. Keep participation free
Yamme is designed around free community pickup sport. Players should not need to pay Yamme or a game organizer simply to join a community game listed on the platform.
Community-organized, not centrally scheduled
Yamme is built around self-management. Players can create games at verified facilities, join games organized by other community members, share games with friends, and use recurring availability to receive notifications when a suitable game matches their schedule and preferences.
Availability matching is consent-based: Yamme can suggest a matching game and notify the player, but the player decides whether to join.
Designed to reduce organizing friction
The platform combines a map of verified sports facilities, scheduled pickup games, recurring availability, match notifications, friend invitations, game sharing, and organizer tools so coordinating a local game takes less effort.
A non-profit mission
Yamme is intended to grow as a community service rather than a profit-distribution business. If the project reaches sufficient scale, formal non-profit incorporation can be completed so the organization, its funding, and its assets are structured around that mission.
Funding such as grants, donations, community partnerships, or mission-aligned sponsorships may eventually support operations and improvements, while the core player experience remains free.

XP reflects useful participation
XP is not meant to be a popularity score. It rewards actions that help pickup games happen: showing up to games, organizing completed games, and contributing useful facility information.
+25 XP for a game attended.
+50 XP for organizing a completed game.
+15 XP for an approved facility contribution.
Trust and safety
Useful signals, not guarantees
Attendance history helps players understand reliability, while organizer reviews reflect participant feedback after games.
Moderation and reporting tools help reduce spam, unsafe content, harassment, and misuse of the platform.
These signals help people make better decisions, but players are still responsible for deciding whether a game, facility, or activity is appropriate for them.
